Metmark-Y

For METAL MARKING YAG Laser Engraver

Our Metmark-Y YAG laser machines expands our offerings to an area left open by our CO2 lasers: the direct marking of metals. Of course, these machines also mark most plastics and cover these materials at incredible speeds of up to 280 inches per second. The design meets world standards, utilizing the latest scan heads from Germany and Q switches for the YAG laser from England. Marking areas of 2.75" x 2.75", 5" x 5" or 8" x 8" are available, the smallest of which allows you to produce letters from 0.008" in height at incredible sharpness. Our lasers are customized to your needs, with 50 Watt lasers applied to routine metal marking and most plastics. The standard 75 Watt laser adds speed and marking distinction to satisfy and of your customers, while the 100 Watt laser is perfect to engrave and cut gold and silver for jewelry.

A YAG laser is perfect for marking metals and plastics, producing marks with great wear characteristics.

This machine is also excellent for engraving delicate photography and art.

Metmark-Y

Metmark-Y is a new addition to Jamieson Laser. We are also offering the same warrantee on the Metmark machines which covered you so well on our CO2 machines: one year on the laser and galvo head, and two years on all other parts.

YAG Laser & Galvo Head

This picture shows the stationary YAG laser and the galvo (scan) head that allows the machine to mark metals and plastics with incredible speed.

Our standard Metmark-Y has a 75 Watt YAG laser and a 5" x 5" marking area, which is ideal for most purposes. If needed, the Metmark-Y is also available with a 50 or 100 Watt YAG laser. Smaller or larger marking areas are also an option. A rotary engraving fixture is optional, making it possible to engrave on round surfaces.
